Site Reliability Engineer
Job Description:
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Exposure to Linux/Unix systems through coursework, personal projects, or internships.
- Good programming exposure with a focus on OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) practices in languages like Python, Go, or Java (basic scripting knowledge is sufficient).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (e.g., hosting an application, setting up virtual machines).
- Knowledge of fundamental networking concepts such as DNS, HTTP, and load balancing (academic understanding is acceptable).
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
